This integration is a private internal tool used by Analog Matter LTD (company no. 08315123) on its own accounting records. It has no customers and no end users beyond the company's own director.

What this website collects

Nothing. These pages are static and stateless. There are no cookies, no analytics, no tracking, and no logging of visitors beyond the standard transient request handling of the hosting provider (Cloudflare).

What the OAuth callback does

The /callback page displays the authorisation code returned by Intuit so it can be copied into the local tool. The code is not stored, transmitted onward, or written to any database — it exists only in that single page response. This site never holds the client secret or any access or refresh token.

What the integration accesses

Once authorised, the local tool reads Analog Matter LTD's own QuickBooks accounting data — chart of accounts, transactions, contacts and related records — and may create transactions on the company's own PayPal ledger accounts. It accesses no other organisation's data, because it is connected to exactly one company file: its own.

Where data is stored

QuickBooks data and OAuth tokens are held locally on the director's own computer. Nothing is uploaded to any server operated by Analog Matter LTD. The application transmits data to no third party and uses no sub-processors — it communicates only with Intuit's API.

Retention and deletion

Locally held data is retained for as long as it is needed for the company's statutory bookkeeping and tax obligations, and can be deleted at any time by deleting the local files. Access can be revoked at any time via disconnect.

Data protection

Analog Matter LTD is the data controller. The records concerned are the company's own financial records; where they incidentally contain personal data of the company's clients or suppliers, that data is processed for the purpose of statutory bookkeeping under UK GDPR.
