Start the authorisation from the machine that holds the credentials

Authorisation is initiated locally rather than from this page, so that the anti-forgery state value is generated and checked by the same process that exchanges the code. Run:

Your browser will open at Intuit. After approving, you will be returned to this site with a short-lived code to paste back into the terminal, which verifies it against the value it generated before exchanging anything.

If you have arrived here because Intuit warned that the connection is about to expire, running that same command renews it.
